I was born to parents who could not imagine anything but whole-hearted devotion to Jesus Christ.  I meet people every year who found Jesus because of hearing my father preach about Him.  That legacy has prompted a hunger for Him in me that has never died.

36 years ago, God blessed me with the love of my life, Roxanne.  She presented me with two incredible daughters, Kristen and Kara, who are happily married to Jon and Adam respectively.  Within the last year we have become the proud grandparents of two grandsons. The joy of my life is that my family knows and loves the Lord.

In 1980, the people of Wooster Grace invited me to become Associate Pastor to Kenneth Ashman, who courageously led our church for 35 years.  Only a few months later, Pastor Ken was with the Lord following a brief battle with a brain tumor.  Since then, it’s been my privilege to lead this congregation as we’ve planned four building programs, the establishment of a Christian School and Pregnancy Care Center, and the construction of two orphan homes in Southeast Asia.

I enjoy running, the NCAA Final Four, and great restaurants with my life partner.   Over the years, I’ve been inspired by church planters in this area, around the country and throughout the world.

I’ve had the opportunity to walk where Jesus walked, gaze at the mystery of the Pyramids, marvel at the majesty of Mt. McKinley and stroll through the palace of the Queen of England.  But the greatest privilege of all is to see lives changed by the power of the Gospel.  That’s what gets me up in the morning!
